Speckled Buff Clay has a slightly course texture and an excellent throwing body.
Speckled Buff falls into the tan/brown color range. The color palette is perhaps best described as ‘Desert’ or ‘Southwest’. It’s wet color is red brown with the tan color and speckles not appearing until high fired. Works great with glazes producing rich colors.
The price of our clay includes the use of all our standard glazes. When you add it all together it is a tremendous value.
