What Do I Get?
Pottery Classes! One to fit your needs.
"HANDS ON" GROUP ACTIVITY -
Have some fun in the mud and experience throwing pottery on a wheel. This 60 minute demonstration and hands on experience is for ages 12 and up.
Each package is for up to four people. Purchase two packages for a maximum 8 people at one time. (Plan on 90 minutes for 8 people)
Completing a pot takes three lessons so this class is just for fun. If you want to create and keep a finished piece of pottery check out our other classes and pottery sessions.
INTRODUCTION TO POTTERY -
A four hour course on the basics of pottery which includes everything you need. The course is split into three classes. Class #1 - (approx. 2 hrs.) Throwing pottery at the wheel. Class #2 - (1 hr.) Trimming your pieces at the wheel. Class #3 - (1 hr.) Glazing your pieces.
This course is for adults and teens 14 years or older. Maximum four people per class.
beginners 10 WEEK CLASS Session -
This class is in conjunction or part of the 9 week session and is required for new students. This class includes everything in the 9 week class plus (1) - 25 lb. bag of clay and a two hour semi private introduction class.
Beginning students will start one week before the 9 week course. Limited to just four people, students will receive two hours of instruction and lots of help at the wheel before joining a 9 week session.
9 WEEK CLASS Session
Includes a weekly 90 minute class with instruction, demonstrations and individual help to improve your pottery skills. Work at you own speed while choosing what you want to create each week.
Also included in this amazing price is up to 2 1/2 hours of weekly open studio time, which may be used before or after class or on a separate day. Enjoy coming to a class and have some extra time to work on your own. All open studio hours are used on a weekly basis and do not accumulate.
Clay is not included in the standard 9 week session but is purchased as needed. Maximum of six students per class. This class is for adults or teens 16 years or older.
Open Studio Time for Non Students
If you are already experienced in throwing, trimming and glazing and don't want to take a class, you can come use our comfortable studio. Use the wheels and tools and throw to your hearts content. Punch cards and hourly rates includes firings. Clay is available to purchase and includes the use of our standard glazes. Punch cards can only be used for open studio time. No refunds or exchanges are allowed.
What's The Schedule?
HANDS ON & INTRO TO POTTERY
Classes offered Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturdays at 10 am and 1 pm. Call for an appointment. Evening classes available in December and during the summer.
9 & 10 week class Times:
Winter, Spring and Fall sessions
Evening classes at 6:30 pm on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
Morning class at 10 am on Wednesday.

BEGINNERS 10 WEEK CLASS SESSION - $285.00
One two hour introduction class and then students join the 9 week session. Includes one 25lb bag of clay plus everything in the 9 week class.

9 WEEK CLASS SESSION - $225.00
A 90 minute weekly class plus 2 1/2 hours of open studio time each week. Up to 36 hours of fun at the pottery studio. All open studio hours are used on a weekly basis and do not accumulate.

CANCELLATION POLICY
PLEASE READ!
Since we have limited space for each of our classes we have the following refund policy for lessons. If you cancel two weeks before the first lesson, you will receive a full cash refund. If you cancel less than two weeks before the first class you will receive a credit to be used in the studio towards open studio time. If you cancel once the class begins you will receive a credit towards open studio time on a pro rated basis. No other refunds or credit will be given.
This pottery studio is for adults and teens only. No babies or young children allowed.
