What Do I Get?

Pottery Classes! One to fit your needs.


Have some fun in the mud and experience throwing pottery on a wheel. This 60 minute demonstration and hands on experience is for ages 12 and up.

Each package is for up to four people. Purchase two packages for a maximum 8 people at one time. (Plan on 90 minutes for 8 people)

Completing a pot takes several weeks so this class is just for fun. If you want to create and keep a finished piece of pottery check out our other classes and pottery sessions.  


A  four hour course on the basics of pottery which includes everything you need. The course is split into three classes. Class #1 - (approx. 2 hrs.) Throwing pottery at the wheel. Class #2 - (1 hr.) Trimming your pieces at the wheel.  Class #3 - (1 hr.) Glazing your pieces. 

This course is for adults and teens 14 years or older.

New beginners 11 WEEK CLASS Session -

This class is in conjunction or part of the 10 week session and is required for new students. This class includes everything in the 10 week class plus (1) - 25 lb. bag of clay and the two hour introduction class.

Beginning students will start one week before the 10 week course. Limited to just four people, students will receive two hours of instruction and lots of help at the wheel before joining a 10 week class.

The first intro class may be scheduled at a different time than your regular 10 week class time. 

10 WEEK CLASS Session 

Up to 4  hours of studio time each week, which includes a 90 minutes class and  2 1/2 hours of addition open studio time. The 90 minutes class provides instruction and demonstrations to improve your pottery skills.

The extra 2 1/2 hours of open studio time may be used before or after class or on a separate day. The 4 hours are used on a weekly basis and do not accumulate. Enjoy coming to a class and have some extra time to work on your own.

Clay is  not included in the standard 10 week session but is purchased as needed. Maximum of six students per class. This class is for adults or teens 16 years or older.

Open Studio Time

If you are already comfortable throwing, trimming and glazing you can come use our comfortable studio by the hour. Use the wheels and tools and throw to your hearts content. Hourly rate includes firings.  Clay is available to purchase and includes the use of our glazes.

What's The Schedule?


Classes offered Monday, Thursday, Fridays and Saturdays until 4 pm and on Thursday evenings 6-8 pm. Expanded summer schedule to include Tuesday and Wednesday until 8 pm.

10 & 11 week class Times:

Winter, Spring and Fall sessions

Tues. and Wed. 10 am or 6:30 pm.

Open Studio Times

Monday thru Saturday 9 am - 9 pm 
except during weekly class times.  See schedule above.

First time clients call (801) 455-7251 for an appointment. With the purchase of a punch card we provide you with an electronic key so that you may enter any time during open studio times.  

Availability is on a first come first serve basis.

How Much Does It Cost?

Pottery Classes -


A one time demonstration and hands on experience for up to four people for just $59.

One person is $89 and then $10 for each additional person (Maximum 4 in a class). Participants must be 14 years or older.

Classes must be scheduled at the same time to receive the multi person discount. Classes must also be paid for and scheduled in advance.

One two hour introduction class and then students join the ten week session. Includes one 25lb bag of clay plus everything in the 10 week class for just $250.00

Instruction and up to 40 hours of studio time for just 200.00!  Clay is not included.

How Do I Get Started? 

We offer winter, spring and fall sessions for our 10 and 11 week courses.  Space is limited to just six students per class.  Contact Dawn for available class openings before purchasing online. Open Studio Time, Punch Cards, and Introduction to Pottery Classes can be purchased online on our secure site and then scheduled after your purchase. 


Since we have limited space for each of our classes we have the following refund policy for lessons. If you cancel two weeks before the first lesson, you will receive a full cash refund. If you cancel less than two weeks before the first class you will receive a credit to be used in the studio towards open studio time. If you cancel once the class begins you will receive a credit towards open studio time on a pro rated basis. No other refunds or credit will be given.

This pottery studio is for adults and teens only. No babies or young children allowed.
